# GER changelog

> What changed between versions of the Governance Error Register.

The GER is a living standard. Versioned releases are archived on Zenodo. Each release lists what was added, refined, or retired.

## v0.2 (forthcoming)

**Methodology change**: Both classes of codes now made explicit — IANA-aligned codes (matching HTTP semantics) vs Namespace-Claim codes (occupying unassigned HTTP slots, following Cloudflare/Twilio/nginx convention).
